How do you compete with this?

    I am only closing 20% of my bids, I am very high, price wise, we also do pest control.

    My best friend retired at the age of 32 worth in excess of 10 million by 25 building high end homes on the NH Seacoast

    One thing rings in my head everytime I dont get a job or want to drop my price to get a job. He would say "I dont want to build every house, just the ones I am going to make a lot of money on". He also would tell me never to bid on ego. So it stings when i get beat by price by trugreen clearly they dont do the same job I do, so i can sympathise with your situation. Try to explain how they are cutting corners on materials.

    I've got a competitor that does treatments for free with a full maintenance contract. My best money is doing treatments, why give it away ????

    maybe they are not....


    in flyers I advertise "free"...nothing is free
