How do you get most of your clientelle?

    It takes time first of all. Everyone thinks they can hit it big right away. I got mine from making relationships with people. That is the most important thing. All of these guys that have these huge companies have good relationships with customers. A lot of time the customers are wealthy and own several properties and refer them to their wealthy friends etc

    Ditto on the crap lawns, I try to provide a landscaping service, not just "mow your yard for 35 bucks and go".

    Customer referrals is my #1. Just last week I picked up almost $700/month worth of work from one of my clients telling her family.
