how do you guys handle a fert. program for shady lawns

    Thanks for clearing that up! As GroundKprs has pointed out, K = 1,000. You should add the "sq. ft." to a K when you mean 1,000 sq. ft. or use M (which means 1,000 sq. ft.). This makes much all the difference in the world. Thanks for clearing that up Matthew! I thought you were telling us K as in potassium. No, 2 - 2.5 Lbs. N per M is very reasonable for shade. Good luck.
