ONE YEAR IT WAS SO HOT, WE HAD A COOLER FULL OF ICE, KEPT TOWELS IN IT, DRAPED THEM OVER OUR HEADS AND SHOULDERS TO COOL DOWN.

Start early in the morning, take breaks and drink plenty of water, several small drinks are better than one long one. Also dont drink coffee or tea, the caffien will dehydrate you as will achohol. Roll down the window instead of running the air conditioner when you drive from jobsite to jobsite. To much sugar will also cause dehydration so lay off the donuts and sweet rolls.

Something that really helps me is to keep a terry towel hanging from my pocket that I can grab to blot the sweat off my face every few minutes.

Take a short break and enjoy a small amount of cold water each time you return to the truck to change equipment (or take frequent breaks if that doesn't happen regularly).

Also, you wouldn't believe the difference between wearing a light-wieght straw hat with good ventilation vs. a baseball cap! The difference is like working in the shade with a breeze.

UNDER ARMOUR it's well worth the price. I worked 9 hours on Friday and by the end of the day my shirt was still dry, instead of soaking wet by the second hour. I highly recommend
    it.

Only if I am hungry and...most important....

Whoop Ass! brand energy drinks through out the day....vitamins.
