i do type my invoices on WORD and i don't run them through a data base. i just print out a copy for myself and when the check comes i make a copy of it to the back of the invoice and write paid on the front of the invoice.

so i concider this method pencil and paper.

    anyone else do this?

Pen and paper. Now the invoices are done with quickbooks. Giving Gopher a try this year. But what I carry with me is a pen and a legal pad.
