Was wondering how you guys pay your labor.Do you pay by the hour, or a percentage. If by the hour how much, and if a percentage how much? Was thinking of maybe going to the percentage of the daily production. Give me some input on this. Do you think this will work? Thanks

i used to mow for a guy that paid me 65% of the yard which i could never pay someone that. These days i'm on my own and pay my help $12 per hour but to be honest i'm not sure which would be better either way it sucks to pay someone

Hourly. Paid every Tuesday. Payroll service takes care of it all....I just track hours and e-mail a nice timesheet in every Sunday night.

I would stick hourly- personally, I think this would be easier to track, estimate jobs, and control labor costs. add a bonus if you want at times.

Ya 65% is definitely a way to go bankrupt. I would keep it to hourly.
