How Good is a Stihl FS 90 Trimmer???

    You won't, believe me. It's the same trigger design and material as on my Husky 223L, and my 13 year old Ryobi trimmer that has seen an enormous amount of use during its lifetime. All my trimmers are carried in the bed of my truck, and I have never broken a single trigger.

    Parts are much cheaper than red max. We are going back to Stihl.

    The 100rx is better than the 90. The 90 is good though.

    Neat to remember what it was like back in 08 when this thread was started. We now know that the 4-mix is a powerhouse even though the 4-stroke engine sounds like it's turning at 50% rpm. The fs90 is more powerful than husky 326, red max 30cc, and echo 280t and starts more easily than most, making it a great choice.
    The new 2-stroke 94 is probably a great choice as well - although unproven at the moment as it's new to the industry
