I mowed a few today that had tons of clover in it! What Ive noticed is, even if the yard has 5 days to dry out, the clover will still be wet!! it clogged up my exmarks almost instantly!

Yea, it sure does hold water in, also seems to make the tires spin and leave turf scuffs.

Fertilize with a high nitrogen fertilizer a couple times and the clover will soon be gone.

Clover is actually a Nitrogen lover. Have you tried Sarritor?

Isn't Tremec supposed to be a broadleaf killer that won't hurt grasses?

Anything with 2,4-D in it will destroy Clover. Spray it and it will be drying up in a week and gone in 2.

2-4-d will not kill clover you need a brush killer in it. You need to really spray in the fall to kill clover you will spray all summer and not get it all killed.

I dont have a fert license and most of the houses that have clover are properties where they dont spray, in fact nobody even lives there, they just keep the house and have it mowed. It looks like crap no matter what kind of mower you use on it also! I had a yard once that was entirely clover, glad I didnt have that one too long!
