    i'm considering a 2007 warrior 54" with the 27hp kohler

forward speed is 13....how is this thing on torque?

i know some of the hustler guys mentioned that the super z's ,with the higher ground speed are low in torque when getting in some real deep stuff and going up hills.

Built with twin EverCool hydrostatic drives and top-mounted cooling fans, our mowers are guaranteed to last longer and run 37° cooler than the competitors--giving you nothing but power. And more of it, too.

I have 5. Does that help?? LOL!
We have had great luck with them. Never found any lack of power mowing or going. We have the 25 KAWI's and have had virtually no problems. One of them has over 1300 hours on it.....

They are great on torque but they have no warranty now since the buyout

I have the 27/60 Worrior. Ran it all season till fall cleanup, forgot the hours, but only one loose wire problem. Very good torque, climbs like a mountain goat, very good discharge. The pivot front end improves traction and improves the ride.

I second that! I purchased two of them with the 25 HP Kawasaki's 54" cuts. They are extremely reliable and literally built like a tank. I am thinking of selling one with only 2.8 hrs only because I decided not to add another crew this year.

    Excellent mower!

Man you guys must be lucky! The 54" is a discontinued model! And there is basically no warranty on them apparently!
