One of my lawn customers asked me to seed and fertilize her lawn. How long should I wait before the next cut. I figured two weeks max now that grass is growing like crazy. Am I off on this? Thanks for the responses. :cool2:

If it needs cutting , cut it and tell them the seed will get more sun and water it needs to grow

I may wait a little longer then usual for the next cut, but once the seed is down i dont really see a problem unless there is alot of bare ground and that may blow the seed around if not covered.

You will have a mess in two weeks. I would cut at 2.5" (if normally cau at 3"), over seed, and hold of long as possible, then go back and cut at 3" again.
