Aerated and overseeded our athletic field. Signs of chickweed and dandilions already... but at the same time, it's only been a month or so since I overseeded and the seeds have finally started sprouting.

The new grass blades aren't really that established, so I don't want to destroy the work by putting down Momentum too early and killing the new seedlings.

Is there a set time to wait to apply post emergent after seeding?

FYI... Lesco's starter fertilizer was applied in late March to the entire field... about 54,000 square feet.

general rule is to wait till new grass has been mowed at least two times.

thats good advice from a good man.
you could look at drive label. you can apply it 7-28 days after seeding depending on type. not sure if chickweed is on the label but you could check.
  4. Another weed killer for new seedling, can't remember, believe it starts with a b........

wat several mowing before spraying other wise
