How many hours can you expect from the Honda engine on the Sport?

My last lawn tractor had a 2 cylinder OHV Briggs engine and it died at about 280 hours. Now this was a consumer grade engine and I assume the Honda on the sport would last longer. What should I expect?

The Honda engine on the Sport is a full commercial grade v twin overhead cam engine and your can expect many many hours out of it if maintained properly.
I dont have a hour rating or figure as it can vary due to how the engine is taken care of.

I have almost 600 hrs and not a thing wrong with a 20 hp model. If you run it about 40 hrs with conventional oil and then switch to Mobile 1 or Amsoil expect that the mower shouldn't last as long as that Honda if properly maintained and change oil, aprox. every 40 hrs depending on the severity of conditions of use. Don't forget the air cleaner. lol
