How many MPG do you get pulling your trailer loaded while working on average? Just for the guys using pick up trucks pulling trailers and what size truck do you use 1/2 ton or 3/4 or 1 ton?

OUCH I have a 2500HD 6.0 crew cab 4x4 and it gets 10.2 pulling a trailer and around 13.9-14.2 without except my camper it only gets 9.2 with it behind it. I was thinking of getting rid of it for a 1/2 ton 2wd but may end up keeping it instead.

Yeah I went from using my 1 ton diesel to getting worst mileage out of a v6 1/2 ton. Only reason I keep using it is my 1 ton is a Lariat and I was tearing it up.

05 Dodge RAM 5.7L I get about 12.5 MPG when I've got my rig on. I'm a real conservative driver.

Well, it's lifted and sitting on 35's. That's where it suffers. I don't care though. It's my pride n joy.

I get about 14mpg empty in the city and about 14mpg towing. I've got a 1998 GMC 2500 6.5 diesel.

2500HD, with the 6.0 & 6 speed auto. A bit over 10 with trailers, mid teens highway unloaded. These new HD's with the extra gears work much better than the old 6 with the 4 speed.
