Quite a few. I've never really counted though. I use a 4 and 1/2 inch handheld grinder with a 120 grit disc instead of the regular grinding wheel. With the finer grit I keep the temp. low and the amount of metal taken off down to a minimum. I can easily take only the needed amount to put a nice edge on. I'm guessing about a whole season on one blade(s) per machine.
i havnt counted either but i get a lot
WOW surprising results...
I must be doing something wrong, I'm getting 4 to 5
a set of baldes last me about 2 weeks....
Now granted I will cut about 15 to 20 acers a week
who sharpens blades? my customers dont give a crap what their lawns look like.
How many licks to the center of a tootsie pop?
a sharpening lasts you 2 weeks right? not the blades!?
No the blades last about 2 weeks.....
I sharpen every day.
If I dont I get Very poor results.
again, Were cutting about 10 to 15 acers a week
is it 10 to 15 or 15 to 20? make up your mind.
Are you cutting grass or rocks?
It sounds like you are taking to much off your blade edge when sharpening.
I change blades everyday as well- but only 2 weeks and the blades are junk is crazy. You must have sandy, sandy soil.
