How can I determine the number of square feet or acres that we will be mowing at each job? I know i can just figure the area, but if the yard has wierd flower beds and stuff in the way it makes it 10 times more difficult. there has to be an easier way to do this. Any ideas?

Break the yard into sections. Figure out the square footage of each section and then add them all up.

Example: You may have several rectangular areas of turf and a triangular section. Measure each section and calculate sq ft and then add them up to get total.
