We (My wife and I) do a 25 acre property with two JD Garden Tractors in 3hrs 25 minutes. Actual lawn is about 22 acres (958,320 sq. ft.).

That is 4674 sq. ft. mowed and trimmed per minute.
That is 280,484 sq. ft. mowed and trimmed per hr.

There are about 80 trees scattered about.
There are 3600 ft. of curbs to trim.
The building is 400 ft. x 180 ft. with landscaping requiring trimming.

They say I am a low bidder, but that is $140 per hr. with an X495, and an X595.

I had to go on to john deere's website to see this super mower that can cut that much in that short of a time. msrp on that 595 is 13000! THATS NUTS, for a homeowner mower!

I don't see how you can cut 22 acres in 3 hours 25 mins. The only thing your unloading on us is.........

You've got $25,000 in mowers and you're only making $140/hour for the two of them. I'm sure you're using flexdecks on each machine, too. You should getting at least $100/hour per machine, maybe more.

I don't think that is bad money per machine. I can have a guy with a $80,000 bulldozer come and work for $60.00 an hour.
