how much do you charge?

    hey i just want to know what you guy's charge on putting out pinestraw? what do you do charge by the bale. or what? say i have 10 bales. an how much to charge with mulch to! sum one help us!:

    9 bucks a bale for pinestraw. Mulch 80 bucks per yard.

    Around here: $7/bale - $55/yard delivered and spread

    $8/bale and $60/yard. It all depends on the area and your costs.

    Pine straw is cheap in Georgia, as likely most of the SC guys are buying straw produced in our state and there is a larger product distribution charge there, meaning, they probably can't get a bale of fresh clean straw for $3/bale unless they buy the entire trailer load of 1000+ bales. We stopped doing pine straw 2 years ago, and referred the work to the farm producer. Its a pain in the butt, itchy, pockets itself, and not very profitable in the market considering the amount of people coming straight from the farm. Their charge is less than mine, and clients can afford more money for other work.

    We do most harwood mulches for $58/yard. Cypress is $62/yard installed.
