Wow, $40K is a whole lot for a 2002 F150.. Seriously, though, trucks can run from $20K to $200K. What kind of truck are you talking about? Do you mean a pickup or a real truck?

I got my brand new chevy 2005 crew cab, 5.3 for $23,000

    3k for my old 4runner
    GM discount
Payed cash, but that didnt sweeten the deal

$40k for a crew cab ,f150 sounds a little high.....

My 05 GMC 2500 HD ext cab MSRP is a little over $38k. Its fully loaded minus the leather. My 96 Silverado is worth $6500-7000, Plan on replacing with a new 3/4ton in the next 2 years and a new or used 1 ton dump (01-06).
    Thanks
    James

My 1999 F-350 dump (got it 2 months ago) Was $30,000 with tax, tags and financing. But it has central hydraulics, snow plow, salt spreader. Only had 12,000 miles. 7.3 diesel, 4x4, heavy duty dump, XLT split bench, extended cab. This truck new after up fitting was $48,000.

    My F-150 was $20,000 its a 2wd POS.

I paid $26,2xx + tax for my 2004 F350 4x4 CC w/V10 and automatic. Sticker was $34,790. It is an XL, but it fools people when they see it. I spent extra and ordered the 40/20/40 vinyl seat. Personally I would not want cloth or leather for a work truck, and the seat in mine is plenty comfortable.
