    Hi all ,

how much would you charge for 2 acres.
I have had the same client list for 4 yrs now and
am a little worried about underbidding this one b/c i am out of practice.

    I have a 48" walkbhd

    thanks

Depending on access (fences) and amount of trimming and such, $65 to $80.00

It has hardly any trees and no fence. The only thing that's in the way is the house. And the drive is about an acre long so i have to stick edge it and blow it off.

I'd have to get at least $50-$60 an acre. If they want weekly go for $100 or so bi weekly go for $120-$125.

The size of your mower means nothing to the customer. Not sure where your from but out here 2 acres flat and open as you desrcibed would go for about $80-$90 or an illegal will bid $30-$40..

Yea I am in Hattiesburg MS 1.5hr NorthEast of New Orleans...

Hr rate around here b/c its a college town. Is about 35-40 an hr its hard to get that sometimes and hard to really get anything more.

Thats true about they don't care what mower u got.
I was posting it so you guys could take note.

for my area its around 45 per acre if its wide open like you say.If you realy want to get this customer tell them what it would cost for a 1 time shot and if they want it weekly then offer them something just a tad bit cheaper.

Figure on 2-2.5 hours for the job with your 48" and the edging.
