I have the opportunity to purchase an entire 100 year old barn foundation. We estimate 30 -- 35 t-tag loads of material are there. We will be using most at my residence, and the rest will be used as the need arises. The question is.... how much for the whole foundation? What should I be aware of in terms of hidden problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

    "how much" what?

    Money?

If you're askin about how much to pay, I would not pay for the stone.

You have expense in loading and transporting the stone, removing old mortar, storing the stone, and so on.

I get calls all the time from property owners askin if we wanna buy their stone.

I tell them "no, we won't buy it but we'll take it"
