How much gas would a 21' commercial mower use per hour of operation? Does anyone know this info?

What about trimmers and backpack blowers?

Any idea of gallons per hour?

I'm trying to work out what my exact(as close as possible) cost per hour will be.
    Thanks for the help.

Estimates as best I can measure or recall...

21" Toro commercial ProLine self-propelled, with 5.5hp Sizuki, 2 cycle: about 7 hours on 1 gallon of mixed fuel.

21" LawnBoy commercial self-propelled, 6.5hp DuraForce, 2 cycle: about 6 hours on 1+ gallon of mixed fuel.

21" LawnBoy commercial self-propelled, 5.5hp 2 cycle (pre-DuraForce engine, 1999 model): about 5 hours on 1 gallon of mixed fuel.

Recalling in days past of long ago, 21" Snapper commercial, self-propelled, 6.5hp, Tecumsech OHV, 4 cycle: about 45 minutes on 1 qt of straight gasoline.

Also, even longer ago than that -- 21" Snapper homeowner, self-propelled, 4hp B&S, side-valve, 4 cycle: 35 minutes on less than 1 quart of straight gasoline.

Can't say I know for sure with that equipment, but its really low. Maybe a 1/2 gal or less an hour.

    21" doesn't use much.
    trimmers are easy on fuel.
you didn't say what blower. The big Redmax blowers use 1/2 gal per hour at wide open. The only time you use them that way is during leaf season.
