We have done most of our final cuts this week and last, the only mowing we will be doing now is just to vac the leaves up. It is only getting up to 8 Celcius so the grass is really not growing at all anymore. Three more weeks of trimming and leaves and we are done fore the season.....at least until it starts snowing.

After this week we have one or two more cuts left. One for sure and two only at a couple of sites. Mowers are winterized and stored by the first week of December.

Still going pretty good here. If its raining I just wait but all properties still getting cut, fertilized properties are still growing fast. I go bi-weekly in October and do one cut in Nov. Im trying to sell mulch installs and pruning for Nov and lime apps for Feb. 2 months off is enough for me.

btw I Almost named my biz GrassChoppers but I wanted to leave myself room to move into other areas.

Yes, I think I'll have one or two cuts left @ a strata unit out in Surrey then its just pruning/general cleanup at this place..

We run right through Nov'05 at this place, its a 12month contract and we might even have to do snow removal if snow comes down..

    Alpine,

I have a 7.5' and an 8.5' V and a Bobcat. If it snows and you are in a pinch...Our service area is Coquitlam, Surrey and Langley. Should have the salter by mid December, work with three other companies that essentially gives me access to 7 plows, 5 salters and two Bobcats.
