For 50 acres we'd give a quantity discount down to about $20 / Acre with that much volume at 1 location. ....A thousand a day by using a Toro 580 D would not be too bad! (of course that doesn't figure in weed eating or blowing....just staright acreage mowing)

Last week I bid a 1 acre lot with a good size hill behind the house that feeds into the woods at $55.00 that is just 5 houses down the street from me. I found out from the customer when I told her my price that the guy that cut it the week before was $55.00 also. I went there today and put a door hanger on there saying that I would lower it to $50.00 per cut because I had no drive time. She called me back this afternoon and thanked me for rethinking the price but she signed a contract last week with a guy for less then $40.00 per cut. I courious to see who is cutting it, how long it takes and what kind of job they or he is doing.

I just got a kick out of that when I got the voice mail message this evening. Just had to share that one.

For a half acre or less we get 35 so around $70, not that many big places in the city.
