How much is a big job? How often will it need to be done? Do you have the equipment or are you going to need to rent equipment?

.85/ft for the first time, .69/ft every time there after sounds fair.

If it's overgrown now...it could take a couple hours and removal of a truck load of dirt. If it's been constantly edged, It shouldn't take longer than 5....10 minutes at most. Are you going to be mowing the property as well....or are you just going there to do the edging? Last fall I bought a Redmax edger and I am happy with it so far.

splicer, you would charge 335.00 for that, we would never get a job at that rate. at the most it should take would be two hours at 55.00 per hour
