How much stone?

    Anyone have a formula for estimating coverage per ton with 1-3" stone?

    henry, 1 ton per 100 sq ft

    Yes, 1 ton will cover 100SqFt(10'x10') at 2" in depth.;)

    You need to know the density of the stone to make that estimation. If it's lava rock, 1 ton will take you a long way. Call the supplier and ask. Or get their price sheet. The info might be there.

    I figured you meant the average 'gravel' size - like the white decorative stone.

    The stone size will make a big difference. :)

    I guess my ? wasn't clear. I want to use stone that is 1-3" in size, mixed.
