My dealer had their open house today. I picked up a Shindy t242 for $283 plus tax. How much are you guys paying? I looked at the Red Max string trimmers too but I liked the Shindy speed feed heads. I learned about the speed feed heads here so thanks guys. They even threw in a pretty nice Shindy hat to go along with it. I missed all the tent stuff outside though. I had meetings today at work.
The thing I like about this dealer is they treat you like a friend when you walk in and always shake your hand when you leave. For people near Flint, Michigan I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that Atherton Road Sales is a great place to spend your money.

Just for future reference, you can put a speed feed head on most any trimmer. They come with different sized arbors to fit different trimmers. Paid 289.00 as well, just didnt like it though and am sticking with redmax.

Ya I know you can add the sf head to others but I didn't want to have to spend anymore money.

The cheapest I found mine was $269. at an open house. The shop owner also threw in a Shindy tool bag with a hat and a bunch of goodies in it. Thats why he keeps getting my business. Thanks Perryhall Lawn
