How to charge for landscape fabric???

    How do any of you charge for landscape fabric???

    Don't use it, therefore no charge.

    I only use it if the customer ask for it. I usually try to talk them out of it. However, I do have some insist due to their ignorance. I charge by the hour!

    oh yeah, and the mark up on materials.

    .50 cent a foot as a start and more if there are tons of plants!

    buy for $.10 and lay it for $.50 a square foot

    Lay fabric first before palnting, alot easier than trying to fabric over the plants...

    landscape fabric is free.

    i feel the customer out. do they have a personal peeve that they must have it???? if so, then it is free.

    fi they are open to not having it, then i drop my price to reflect the diffiiculty of installing it, and warranteeing it.
