I charge $55/yd installed and delivered with a 5yd min. This does not include bed edging which I get $1 per foot for it.

$80 a yard for me, and that includes the edges. I will not install mulch without doing the edges!

No way are you crazy???? You measure it out figure what you need to do a good job. say you come to 3 yards of mulch making the mulch 3" thick. I give a bid of 180.00 for the job. They don't know how much mulch is needed. Give them the figure for the job. Dont tell them it will be 3 yards of mulch and that will cost you 180.00. Say the job is 180.00 and it will be 3" thick roughly before settleing.
I will get my own mulch if under 5 yards. If I need more than 5 yards I charge 60 per yard then add on delivery fee.

Mulch like alot of other things in this industry varies tremendously depending on where you are. And then it varies even more based upon where it is going and then some. Personally, I charge $50/yd. total. Cost of mulch is $14.50+tax. Most people around here charge a little more, approx $60. However, I can load 14 yds. and have it laid in less than 6 hours all day in one trip. Also I can dump if need be.

Scott, I wouldn't do only 2 yards for $55/yard... it would be more like $65 or so up to 5 yds.
