I was planning on helping a customer fix a sandstone wall he has....i need to cut a few slabs that appear to be about 4" thick, 8" wide, and 16" long. I assume i should use a chisel, but have never tried before.

Can anyone give some pointers? IE what kind of chisel, technique, etc...the cut doesnt need to be clean..the wall already has a 'rough' look to it

    thanks
