How to get a License

    I live in East Texas and was wondering what I would need
    to do to include chemical usage in our lawn service. Such as
    fertilizer and weed killers. (legally)

    You have to have a year of verifyable training before you can test. I wish I was in Lindale sitting under a big oak and sippin' on some medicine ...

    Just check the post "Licensing in all States" at top of this forum. It has links to your state regulatory and training offices.

    That stinks, you can't just study on your own and then take the test? Just curious, interesting how different the states regulate this stuff.

    You could get on with a lawn care co., and after a year take the Certified Applicator test. At least that was how it was back when I got in. I still see/saw a lot of boneheads still pass...
