how to get air out of hydro system

    i have a scag 61 zero turn ..did a service oil filter's etc.started the machine and now it doesn't move .figured there is air in the system.anybody have any idea how to remedy this problem

    Raise and block the drive wheels off the ground. Start the engine and run about 3/4 throttle, Move the controls full forward then full reverse slowly 8 to 10 times then re-check fluid level. Set the unit on the ground and test run.

    Some say to open the bypass valves but I don't bother, I've used this method on all brand units with no problem.

    Were the filters OEM ? I have seen some aftermarket filters state will fit X brand unit but they would have a anti-drain back valve in the top that would stop/restrict oil flow.
