first off weed and feed has a post emergant in it....thats how it kills the weeds not prevents them. i would use lescos momentum or trimec classic...they both do a fine job with those weeds.
PS. is it my amaginATION or is henbit and chickweed in full force this year? ive never seen it this bad so early... im applying a postememergent to my lawns next week to take care of them....ive never had to do it this early in the past.
  3. The chickweed your are refering to actually
is know as winter chickweed and grows over the winter.
To help prevent winter chickweed you can
apply pre-m in november.
It cannot stand the heat and high sun angle and it will die off naturally by June.
