how to green up my lawn

    hello is it too late to green up the lawn it pretty hot and dry here and the grass is brown and dead last year this time i put the sprinkler on it but I'm not home enough anymore and that has to be done regularly is there some type of fertilizer that will work thanks

    Nope, unless you can water you will have to live with it until the rains return. Your grass has went dormant and will remain that way until it receives moisture.

    Try Sherwin & Williams low luster in the shady you like best.

    A nice irrigation system and a good fert. program and we could have you green in time to cut it once more before winter.

    Yes, you are too late. If the lawn has went dormant due to lack of water it is best to leave it like that. Bringing a heat stressed lawn out of dormancy during a drought is very stressful on the lawn and could kill it.
