Does anyone have some advice on changing out a hydraulic pump on a zero turn yazoo kees pump number bdp-10L-117P. Can a semi novice do it? Any step by step instructions out there? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why are you replacing it? If it's chewed up you'll need to flush the lines and tank. Install a new filter. As for replacing it. Just take several digital pictures of it for reassembly.

have a yazoo kees with 2 pumps--one for left and one for right. The one on the right will not work--makes loud chirping noise and will not go forward or reverse. Had reverse for a while then no forward. Landscaper said the pump was probably out. Tried changing fluid and bleeding, etc. No leaks. Someone else said possibly wheel motor--This is a 10 year old model with a lot use. Several people agreed with hydraulic pump. So I guess I start there.

Have you taken the pulley off to see if it was spinning on the shaft? Maybe the key sheared?
