Hey guys I snapped a belt on my 52" Toro proline walkbehind mower. When I was taking the mower apart I noticed a bad bearing on the shaft coming out of the gearbox. So I have to remove the pulley to remove th bearing.I loosened the set screw but now I think I probably need some sort of puller to remove the pulley.Where would I get one, Auto Zone.My question is do I need one and where to get it.I appreciate any insight on the subject.

You can rent them too. But it would be worth it to buy it for yourself. Just make sure you have all the set screws out and check all around the key way for another set screw. If the shaft end is rusty i would clean it up with some sand paper and lube it good.Use some Kroyil, or some WD40, to penetrate and you should be fine. Let us know how you make out?
