How to secure leaf boxes?

    I dont have stud slots in my 8' bed on my truck, so whats a good way to secure my box down?

    perhaps weight it down with sand bags or actual weights in the corners.

    We need to know what kind of truck you have or maybe a pic of the box. Have you considered drilling holes and fastening eyelets in the bed of the box.

    What kind of box doesn't have stakepockets? Is it homemade, or something?

    As cantoo said, drill holes in the bed and maybe use carriage bolts. Assuming this is for your 87 Dodge Dakota, I am assuming it is not a dump body, so you don't have to worry about it sliding out when you dump.
