I have a scag with electric clutch. Model SW36-13KA. The blades don't engage and I'm thinking it may be the regulator, any suggestions on testing this?

I don't know about the regulator, but pull the wire off the clutch and use a meter to see if you have 12vdc to to ground.

So pull the wire that goes from the Regulator to the Electric Clutch, start the machine and then check for 12vdc?

I plan to take test what I can before I bring it to a shop tomorrow.
