Went to a restaurant this week-end and I'd like to come up with a proposal.

The front statue need some light but they are right along the edge of the side walk. But they really need to shine. The owner will put some evergreen in the red planters. The also need to be lit up.

    Any suggestions welcome

    Thanks

Time to break out the Hot Saw. I like lights in/ or in front of the planters and statues (be careful of glare). I would stick a couple of poles in the outside planters and use some globe, string lights over the dining area. That's an odd setup for lighting though.

Up lights at the base of the statues and BK Sign Stars on the sign over the main entrance. Cross light the entrance steps from above. I would downlight each table with a FXL LE or similar fixture. Also a few path lights in the planters to illuminate the walk way. Get rid of the glare bombs that are currently serving no purpose.

Most pizzerias in America can barely keep the suppliers paid and the neon sign lit..... Guess the french are doing something right.

Also i assume in the winter that place get buried under tons (literally) of snow. Do those planters stay outside in winter? Seems like the big blowers on the front loaders would suck those things up and spit them out.

The problem with uplighting the statues is that they are right along the edge of the city sidewalk. Kinda hard to install well lights.

I agree about lighting each table, and I presume that the planters get stored during the winter.

This pizza place rocks, lot's of famous customers but it's not an ideal setup to showcase a spectacular lighting gig.

Appears to have a civic street light just out of view to the right of the photo. If you do anything there, you will have to compensate your light levels for that.

Honestly, there are opportunities and then there are headaches.... if the owners are asking you for some help then that is one thing, but if you are planning on just proposing a solution, well I would move on to more suitable candidate properties.
