I have a 17hp 42inch Country Clipper with blade tip speed of 19000 fpm. Just wondering if I will have a big hp loss running doubles, meg-mo's, or gators?

I like meg-mows but they will use power and you will notice it.

So are you saying there is no horse power loss? Also, does the use of these blades effect warranty of the engine or the mower?

Some people say they have HP problem but it does not show on our mowers. Does doubles have a warranty problem?

No horsepower problems here, using Meg Mo blades on a JD 757's. If your dealer has a problem with you running Meg Mo blades then find another dealer. My dealer doesn't give a rats behind about what blades I run, never said a word about it.

I don't know, I am assuming it does...so does that mean meg mo's affect the warranty as well if something goes hey wire?

When you say "doubles", how do you set that up?
