i've got a cheap hudson classic pump hand sprayer.

where can i get a replacement handle for this?

the one that comes with the tank was never very good even when it wasn't all rusted out.

The only Hudson sprayer I would consider buying is one of these. Right now, my hand can is a B & G stainless steel 2 gallon.

i don't think you understood my question. i don't need to buy a new tank.

i use this for my own yard only and am sick of buying a new tank because the handle is broken. i'd rather just fix the one i got. and not buy a whole new unit.

I have a homeowner grade Hudson for when I do not want to scare my neighbors. That got fixed by cutting threads on the pump rod and locking a pipe handle similar to what is on the Xpert onto it. I used some washers, nuts and a 3/4 galvanized nipple. I could never understand why that cheap plastic is used where it is necessary to apply so much force to it.

Oh, the trigger and other parts. I see. Why not put on the wand and trigger normally sold for spot sprayers. That is not nearly as bad as what I have done. I put 1/4 quick couplers on the end of the hose so any of my wands and guns will fit.

Just get a wand from whatever sprayer you can find--say Lesco or Spray Doc. Cut the hose and clamp it on.
And if is a cheap Hudson sprayer, they are disposable. Get another one. If you want a good one--get B and G.

I bought my B & G hand can back in 2000. It is still working without my needing to frankenstein any parts on it. I just screwed on a 1/4 quick coupler so my various treatment guns will fit on it. The end of the hose already has a 1/4" male fitting. http://www.sprayersdirect.com/Merch...=PROD&Product_Code=42001676&Category_Code=SPR When I ordered from them 9 years ago, it was only $175, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. I will never get caught holding something a customer could have bought himself from the orange box.
