I am in lawn care, but I am looking to offer pressure washing in the off season to my 12 month customers. I use all Husqvarna equipment, and want to know if anyone here knows anything about their pressure washers?

    Thanks

When a person starts charging $$$ for a service, they are placing themselves in the position of being a professional. IMO, The husqvarna Pressure washers are NOT professional.

Actually Husqvarna does make some comercial pressure washers and they are well made. I have been doing this as a service for my reg customers for years now. I have been using a 300.00 2500 psi Home Depot special up until now. I just picked up a Husqvarna 2500 psi model #5525. It is small and compact easy to manuver, has a honda motor and is the smoothest unit i have ever used..well worth 479.00 ( it will pay for it self next week. plus you cant beet them for under the mower deck...

I too purchased a Husqvarna pressure washer. Mine is 4000 psi but a measly 3 gallon per what ever. I don't do it commercially but i am doing research and i am thinking about offering it as a service or just started an actual business doing strictly washing. It i a solid unit for a home owner or even for the occasional commercial property. They have the awesome CAT pump on them.. HMMM... But i do agree bobs washers are probably much better

Husqvarna only makes direct drive units and not belt drive. I'd hardly consider this a commercial unit.

I must agree with pool boy on that. Also the GPM's are entirely to low to even think about using a surface cleaner or anything like that

ok well to start out..When i said commercial quality, I was saying that the manufacturers call the pumps on the better machine commercial quality (brass pump heads). Not by any means are the machine comparable to the trailer rigs that yard smart showed. I simply do this for some extra cash, and to make my yearly customers happy..

The Husky PWs in question might not be "true commercial level" but at least they don't put you in debt like a trailer setup will either. I say buy what you can afford and what will do the job efficiently and have at it. Later!
