    Hello,

I been thinking about selling my 52" Exmark Quest for a while now, due to the fact that I am fixing to aquire more land, and because I dislike the engine's air filtration system. Its too small for my application. I bought the mower a year and 5 months ago and it only has about 28 hours on it.

What I am interested in are the Hustler ztr mowers. A man (who I am familiar with) just recently opened up a Hustler dealership about 2 miles from me. I been in there a few times and started looking at the mowers and actually really like them. They seem to be built really well in my opinion, and I like the warranty. But I know nothing about this brand of mower.

Here are a couple prices I got for the mowers that I'm interested in:

    1) FasTrak Super Duty 54": $6499 + tax
    2) FasTrak Super Duty 60": $6699 + tax

I am really more interested in the 60" model. Are these good mowers/prices?? Are there any real concerns about these models/brand of mower?? WILL THEY CUT AS GOOD AS MY EXMARK QUEST??

    Thanks alot,
    Thunderhead:)

Well pricing has a lot to do with area. Your pretty far away from him. But you should try and do some dealing, seeing as it is a new delearship and all.

LA... maybe they have some special smog stuff on the engine?

A dealer in Maryland quoted 15% off list befor any negotiation, the guy in Va. gave me that price in writing when I visited the store.

The guy you "know" is trying to get full retail for the mower.

You should be able to get at least $500 off of that price. If he won't deal go elsewhere.

I imagine he'll deal. He knows I'm buying from the cheapest dealer (3 are real close to me- 2 of them are just a few miles from me.

    Thunderhead,
Did you ever get a mower?
I stopped by the local Hustler Dealer yesterda and the price he qouted me on the 54" Super Duty is pretty much the same thing you were quoted.
Just wondering if you were able to negotiate a better price and how you like the mower if you've got it yet.
