    How do these forks flex?

Do they hold up to commercial use, or have they had durability problems?

Has anyone ever tried using flex forks on a different brand mower? Wondering if they would work on my Scag Wildcat.

Well on certain lawns they made a tremendous difference in the ride. On other lawns they could do some bouncing, which was a bit unnerving at times. At average speed on an average lawn they were great. If they had some kind of dampening they would truly be great. I decided I like the tires aired down to 8 psi without them for most jobs.

That is my problem.... My new Scag has runflat tires and there is no way to make them softer. They are pretty rough riding over bumpy lawns.

Do you like the runflats????....becuase if i wanted a softer ride i would just buy the regular air tires.....or did you add that as an option??....I just think that would cheaper than the flex forks....

    just my .02

I like the tires, just not the stiff ride they offer. I hated having to air up the tires on my older mowers as they would leak down in a matter of a few days.

There are few ZTR's that ride very good. When Exmark went to no flat front tires the ride went down hill also. I think air filled tires with slime is the best option for improving a ride. Grasshoppers come from the factory with low pressure tires and I always thought they rode well. The Hustler Super Z wasn't bad with 8 psi. Super smooth with the flex forks but the bounce was a bit much. Of course always get the best suspension seat you can afford. I wouldn't have a ZTR with out one.
