    i am part time with about 30-40 accounts some weekly some bi-weekly.

    about 15-20, 1/4 acre lots

    about 7, 1/8 acre lots. postage size lots (mostly done with walk behind)

    about 5, 2 acre jobs.

    about 10, rough mowing, vacant lots 1/4 plots grass can get to about 2'. not sure i will always have these.

    i currently have a zd kubota with a 54" deck i like the size.
    i also have a 48" tthp exmark walkbehind.

    what mower would you recommend for my needs. i do get the impression that some people think my mower is too big for residential work. so i'm not sure i want to go bigger. i just want to get better. i think a 60" deck is too big. i also think the 52 is a little small. i think 54 or 56 fits me perfectly.

    i'm considering a hustler super z with the 27hp Kohler 54" and bagger.

    i'm not sure which model of exmark to compare to. northern grass.

    any sugestions on which model and size would be great. i'm concidering ride too.

    If you can i'd demo them both to see which one you like better , the hustler will be a better ride, The Exmark will probably leave a much nicer cut in your area .The Hustler is a great Z I'am not sure how well they cut in your area.

    I cannot speak for Exmark but I do have a Hustler. Great company, great warranty and probably a little cheaper..Cuts and rides beautiful!!

    If you go Hustler 54 super Z you will loose edging
    because of the frame and width.
    Look at the Hustler Z
    I own an Exmark 52 Z and would not trade the cut for anything.
    I actually own a Hustler WB and have been impressed with the dealer,,,not the company. It don't cut worth a damn

    If I was buying a 60, I would likely go hustler
    54-50 exmark has the edge on edging
    Dealer support would ultimately be the deciding factor.
    I think the quality of cut goes to Exmark
    Just .02

    but I am taking a super z for a couple days next week.
    This way I can compare both side by side

    Frames are the same on the standard and Super models.
    (Supers have larger pumps, suspension seats and oil cooler) I think that is it.

    Trim capacity from the Brochure:

    54" = 0"

    60" = 3"

    66" = 4"

    72" = 7"
