Hustler SD or Kubota ZG 127S

    To answer your question...the deck depth on the Hustler FTSD is only 4" compared to the Kubota Kommander's 5" depth. This makes a major difference in the how the grass clippings are discharged on your freshly mowed lawn. I highly encourage you to demo each to see for yourself. The Kommander leaves a very even dispersal of clippings... so even you can barely see them.

    Also, the Kubota Kommander is available in Kohler Courage Pro, Briggs & Stratton Pro, and Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf Cylclonic engines. All of which have been especially outfitted for Kubota.

    Most dealers allow you to demo the equipment before you buy. I would encourage your to try all of your options and cut with them before you make your purchase.
