Ever since I bought my SuperZ, I longed to be able to use my York Sheet Metal EZ-Striper on it.

I did some measuring and figured it could fit.

With a little modification it fit just great!

Now, I'm able to remove the cumbersome rear anti-scalp wheels (to improve trim-ability) and I'm also able to ride berms length ways without the fear of scalping.

Plus, it really firms up the stripe.

With my slight modifications, I am unable to adjust it up or down, but for my needs, it suits me just fine.

    Here are a few pics....

I had to grind some metal off the YSM red bracket to get it to fit around Hustlers reinforcing ring. Exmarks' doesn't go all the way past this bracket.

I didn't need a wrench on that bottom nut!

Here is a good shot from underneath.

All these pics are with the deck down and set to cut at 3.5"

Somewhere around 1.75" off the ground when cutting at 3.5"

I beleive my Lazer was set a little under 1.5" in the same position.

It isn't necessary for it to roll on the ground to give the stripe.

Did you have the Hustler roller on there before ? Or did you use the Exmark roller cause you already had one ?

Whats the difference between Hustlers roller and Exmarks ?

I had this roller on my 2001 LC Lazer that I recently sold. I didn't sell the roller or the Director with the mower.

I figured I'd try to mount up what I have. If it didn't work, I would have went with Huslters' version.

I never seen a Hustler striper in person, so I cant comment on the differences. This YSM version has lasted me 5+ years and all I did was grease it 2x's a week.
