Quick question - - I bought a new Hustler Z, 60", a few months ago - - used it last about three or four weeks ago - - yesterday, turned the key, and it is acting as if the battery is dead.

Is this common after sitting only three or four weeks? What do I do now?

    Thanks - -

How cold has it been down there in SC ?
I would call my dealer and have them check the battery.
They can also check the charging system of the unit.
If both are good, it could just be the colder weather.
But I would have my dealer look at it.

    Thanks, Pj.

I'm going to have a friend look at it first, as I have no way to get it to the dealer, and they charge a significant amount to come and get it. Probably will end up finding a way to get it to them. Doesn't help in getting it on a trailer that it won't start!!! Ha.

Make sure all the kill switches are O.K., Like the one under the seat and make sure that the blades aren't engaged and the steering levers are all the way down because if one isn't touching the switch it won't start.
