I'm not too familiar with all the Hustler issues, but I see that there have been deck changes and issues with the cut. I am in the process of looking at (buying) an '06 Hustler Z 25/60 with the "old deck".

What modifications have been done on the XR7 deck, do I need to consider that when buying?

    How does the quality differ?

    Is ther a clipping issue?

    Thanks

There is the old style deck which was / is a great deck, the unit your looking at / demoing is a great deck for your conditions / areas, Bob James / Ontrac has sold many and has had no issues that I am aware of.
The new deck is the XR-7, they have also sold many of these and had minimal problems, the problems they did have were taken care of with the installation of triangular baffles we designed to go in the back of the deck.
I live about a hour from you in Syracuse and have the Super Z 28hp EFI 60" with the XR-7 and it works awesome with no issues with the cut.
The quality of both units is the best in the industry.

    PJ, thanks.

That's reassuring. This is a big investment (for me).

It already has them, they are standard on that mower.
