HWat is an LO 1383?

    These SCB lamps are leftovers at my local Ewing who are blowing out older stuff that was there before they took over the branch.

    LO 1383, made by GE, SCB, frosted, not sure how many Watts but I'll look them up when I go back and maybe take a photo...

    It has kind of an elongated stem that tapers to a wider, flattened (but still rounded) end.


    Oops... I meant What...not Hwat... duh...

    Just got an answer from my NS rep ... SCB, 120 degrees by 120 degrees reflective spot, but only about a 900 hr. rated life.

    900 hours, wow impressive. NOT.

    Reminds me of the 93 and the original 1156 SCB lamps... they usually last into the triple digits too. Thank goodness for xenon.

    or how about the 4414, those lamps were real winners!!

    well, it still beats the guy that goes around each night and lights all the gas lanterns on the street corners...
