My "grey market", 'econo-hoe', (but pretty solid... 551-MX) has hard to translate specs...:dizzy:

what are proper fliuds for the Hyd system, I would like to flush and detail everything properly (while it is still raining (snowing this AM...))

Do you guys use synthetic grease in wet climates?

Any other maint suggestions or referrals to 'mech' specific site welcome

Of course I need to get busy on the 'thumb and mount my flail mower'

I haven't been able to get ahold of the guy, but I haven't tried that hard.

Still contemplating it, but the wife isn't too thrilled at the thought of a skid steer sitting in my garage until I get around to fixing it (I already have a lawnmower dissasembled in there  )

As for grease just use regular grease you should be greasing the machine daily anyhow using synthetic just adds to the cost. Hydraulic oil a AW-36 would probably be good enough if its a real drooler you may want to go to something a little heavier.

    Sorry....

I'm not kidding though, I can literally count around 10 yanmars in this area just like yours.
